Dear Groupmuse NYC,

"Water is Life.” May that rallying cry carry us forth, so that we may honor and protect that odd, delicious liquid that has given us so unfathomably much. A need so ancient has never been so urgent.

New York Baroque Incorporated - committed to presenting early music in dynamic and provocative ways - has prepared an evening in honor of Water, which has served an inspiration for so much music over the ages. Oh yeah, and they want us to join for a Night Out!

It’s an installment of their 4-part Alchemy series, which draws inspiration from and honors the four classical elements: water, air, earth, and fire. However old that conception of our world may be, we’ve truly never needed to respect and serve these forces more.

We’ll gather in the beautiful St. Paul’s Chapel on Broadway and have an overture and concerti by Telemann, Vivaldi, Locatelli, and Handel, all threaded together with the theme of great and lovely Water.

Tickets typically run $35, but this here’s Groupmuse after all, so we’ve got a stack for a mere $15! But supplies are limited so act now!

And have a great Night Out!

Best,
Team Groupmuse
