Dear Musers, I am looking forward to hosting the talented cellists Devree Lewis and Natalie Spehar. They will play a surprising mix of pieces from the classical repertoire and from their own list of arrangements of rock and metal songs. All in all, be prepared to hear Vivaldi, Bach, Gliere, Muse, the Matriarch, Metallica, and more! Get curious and fasten your seatbelts...
Devree and Natalie met 9 years ago at the University of Maryland. They are former housemates,
bandmates, and studio mates. They both individually performed nationally and
internationally with their own various cross-over projects. The new duo has
several concerts booked for summer 2019, but this will be their debut
appearance!
I know Devree as a founding member of beloved Trifiio Tango trio in which her cello deepens and smoothes tango's dramas. Join me in discovering her arrangements of rock and metal!

Hello everyone! Thank you so much for coming to the Cello Duo Surprise at my home on Friday. I loved Devree and Nathalie’s music, and your company. New faces, old friends, it was great to see you all.
For those who asked, the macaroons are from Costco and the brand is “Tipiak”.
All enjoy your Easter weekend!
