Fellow Musers!
Please join us for what will surely be a lively installment of Classical on Clipper. There will be light home-cooked fare, fascinating patrons, inspiring conversation, and of course great chamber music.
Conveniently located in the lush and lovely Noe Valley, the Clipper residence welcomes you to enjoy your Saturday evening with us. We are four 20s-30s boys and girls with a zest for hosting social gatherings and sharing our wonderful view of the city.
Please do bring your libations of choice and come dressed ready for Polaroid portraits (totally optional).
See you there,
-Nick, Michael, Roshan, Madeline
Program
Our program will feature original tunes by Scroggins & Rose
as well as improvisation exploring the intersection of classical and American folk music.
Our compositions draw on bluegrass’s compact song structures, pop songs’ dramatic arc, and Bach’s two part Inventions for keyboard, which follow a linear melodic journey of two contrasting voices from beginning to end.
