Beethoven is not sufficiently appreciated as humorist. His wit will shine forth even better if the actual titles are kept secret until heard, as if for the first time - the way all great music was meant to be heard. This is not same-old by any means.


Historical context

Everything that compels my pianistic attention is inspired by the wonderment caused by that invention, which released a level of ear-play not previously known. The sound is still so complex that it defies electronic simulation.
