Take a musical journey across continents and centuries with two adventurous flutists and their collection of flutes. We’ll travel from the cherry blossoms of Japan to the mountains of Peru, from the deserts of China West to the icebergs of Antarctica, enjoying sprightly Irish jigs, spirited Hungarian folk dances, and soulful pieces inspired by Native American meditations and sacred invocations of the Igbo people of Nigeria. With stories that bring each piece to life, and music ranging from playful to profound, this concert celebrates the power of music to transport and connect. Come travel with us!
