I. Robert Schumann (1810-1856) - Adagio & Allegro for cello & piano. A lyrical, soulful, and vivacious work originally written for horn but loved by all instruments for its irresistable melodies.

II. Ludwig van Beethoven (1770-1827) - Sonata for cello & piano no.3 in A major. The most epic and well-known of Beethoven's five cello sonatas, this swashbuckling 4-movement masterpiece is a crowning achievement of his middle period.

III. Ralph Vaughan Williams (1872-1958) - English Folk Song Suite. One of the English composer's most celebrated works, this 3 movement suite based on folk tunes was originally written for military band before being arranged for full orchestra. We're excited to premiere Taide Ding's piano 4-hand arrangement of this beloved classic.
