About

Abby Gower is a pianist out of the state of Maine. She began studying piano at the age of 7, and at the age of 13 began taking lessons from internationally known pianist, Chiharu Naruse. She received her Undergraduate Degree from The University of Maine in Music Performance- Piano Concentration, where she studied with both Baycka Voronietsky and Dr. Phillip Silver. While working on this degree, she was accepted to a selective vocal collaborative piano program in Vienna Austria, where she lived for a summer and exclusively worked with German Lieder, studying under Carolyn Hague and Robert Barefield. During her undergrad, Abby was very active in The University of Maine's chamber music program, performing several times throughout the year. It was her growing love of chamber and vocal music that led her to apply for the Collaborative Piano program at Longy School of Music. She was accepted to this program and is currently working on her Master's degree in Collaborative Piano at Longy.

Born in Costa Rica, Maria Pia Bourne has been known as a respected performer and chamber musician. In Costa Rica, she started her music education at the “Centro Nacional de la Musica” in 2005. While in Costa Rica, she performed with orchestras such as The National Youth Orchestra, Costa Rica National Orchestra and Costa Rica Philharmonic, under the baton of conductors such as Daniel Nazareth, Irwin Hoffman and Steven Karidoyanes. In 2012, Maria Pia moved to Boston, Massachusetts to pursue her Undergraduate at the Longy School of Music of Bard College where she studied with Mihail Jojatu . During her time in Boston, she has performed with different orchestras such as Longy Conservatory Orchestra, Asian American Youth Orchestra, New England Repertory Orchestra, among others. In 2011, she was selected to participate with The American Symphony Orchestra and the Bard Conservatory Orchestra on the tenth Anniversary of the Fisher Center of Performing Arts at Bard College, under conductor Leon Botstein. Maria Pia has played in masterclasses for cellists such as Matt Haimovitz, Terry King, Bernhard Loercher, Raman Ramakrishnan, Thomas Schmitz (Signum String Quartet), Kurt Baldwin, Watson Cliss, Claudio Jaffe and Marek Jerie.

Geraldine Osorio was born in Bogotá Colombia. She started her musical studies at the age of 16 years old, attending a preparatory school for music called Distrital University of Colombia. She then began school at the National University of Colombia. In the past she has played with different symphonic bands in her Country as "Banda Sinfonica de Cundinamarca" and "Banda Sinfonica de Chia". She has been involved in many different music festivals, such as FEMUSC in Brazil, and Second Music Olympiad in Kerkrade, Holland. She received the Latin Grammy Scholarship, which allowed her to begin her Undergraduate degree at Longy school of Music, where she is currently working on a degree in Clarinet performance.
