About

Hailed for her “enchanting” playing (NY Classical Review), Yasmina Spiegelberg is the laureate of solo and chamber music international competitions. She was guest soloist with the Norwegian Chamber Orchestra and the String Ensemble Rapsodia. She is an alum from Carnegie Hall’s Ensemble Connect and has appeared at Avaloch, the Bridgehampton Chamber Music Festival, Caramoor, Yellowbarn, and with ensembles such as Argento New Music Project, Nu Deco Ensemble, and Orpheus Chamber Orchestra. She is Principal Clarinetist of the Chamber Orchestra of New York, Pegasus: The Orchestra, and was a substitute on Camelot (Broadway). Her chamber music collaborations include Lucy Shelton, Mark Steinberg, and A Far Cry. Yasmina appeared as a clarinet teacher at Juilliard Pre-College and was on the chamber music faculty at Yellowbarn Young Artists Program. She holds degrees from the Norwegian Academy of Music and University of Southern California where she completed an Artist Diploma with Yehuda Gilad.
