Music

I love music from every period--when classical music gives you access to a cultural history of 500 years, around the globe, why limit yourself? Some of my personal favorite composers are Beethoven, Schumann, Liszt, and Ravel--but what I really enjoy is discovering how different styles can illuminate each other.

Classical music is still being composed, too, and I love to play new music! I've given many world premieres, and occasionally write my own pieces, as well.
