About

Cherry Street singers is a vocal ensemble made with friends who simply love singing together: madrigals, motets, sacred music, drinking rounds,... Our repertoire goes from Purcell to Messiaen, also singing Poulenc, Bach, Tchaikovsky, Charpentier, and world premieres from contemporary composers we love and respect. We sing a cappella or with piano... or Harp!

Music

Madrigals and sacred music from the Renaissance and Baroque Period: Weelkes, Marenzio, Byrd, Palestrina, Rore, Monteverdi, Purcell, Bach
But also more modern A Cappella Music: Vaughan Williams, Bruckner, Poulenc, Tchikovsky, Schubert,...
One of our members, Adam Simon, is a very talented composer (see: https://adamjacobsimon.bandcamp.com/album/string-quartet-1-in-g-minor), and we have also had the pleasure of performing his music too).
