Corina Santos



Corina Santos is a violinist and music educator from Austin, TX. In 2021, she received her Master of Music Degree from DePaul University in Chicago, IL, where she studied under Janet Sung. She completed her undergraduate studies with Sandy Yamamoto at the University of Texas at Austin.

Corina has performed as a soloist with the Austin Civic Orchestra and has worked with acclaimed violinists and teachers such as David Kim, Laurie Smukler, Danielle Belen, Sally O’Reilly, pianist Rohan de Silva, violist Paul Neubauer, the Juilliard String Quartet, and the Miró Quartet.

She has served as a teaching artist and faculty member at for various community and non-profit music organizations, including Music Mission San Francisco, The People's Music School, and The University of Texas String Project, and maintains a small studio of private students.

Corina loves the sense of community that chamber music brings to all parties involved, from the players to the audience members!


I love playing all chamber music! I'm particularly interested in playing music by Latin American composers that take inspiration from the traditional genres of their country.
