About

We are a sometimes duo, sometimes trio or larger chamber group performing works by Bach, Beethoven, Brahms, Ravel, Debussy, and also of course some of the "minor prophets" (lesser known heroes) of classical music. We also love sharing the history and real-life stories behind each work that connect our listeners to the past and bring the lives of composers right here to the present. Sit back and enjoy with us a fun, relaxed evening of vibrant music, compelling histories, and a shared love of classical music.

Jessica Gottesman has performed in over 30 cities on four continents as a member and soloist with the Betty Haag Academy, including as a soloist at Orchestra Hall in Chicago. She holds a Bachelor of Music from Northwestern University.

Elena Swensen is a Russian concert classical pianist and a former Associate Professor at Sobinoff State Conservatory in Russia. She holds a doctorate in musical performance and has won numerous awards in Russia and Europe.
