I am a cellist, educator and chamber musician based in SF
Founding member of Duo Érable, a cello and guitar duo with guitarist Pauline Gauthey our mission is to expand the limits of traditional classical repertoire and reaching communities large and small in the Bay Area.
As a dedicated orchestral musician, i was a substitute cellist for the Montreal Symphony Orchestra, and i am currently a section cellist for the Berkeley Symphony Orchestra.
Passionate about education, I am an active teacher, currently expanding my private studio. As a collaborative musician, I had the opportunity to be mentored and collaborate with renowned musicians such as Ralph Kirshbaum, Tessa Lark, Ronald Leonard, Philippe Muller.
I am currently pursuing an Artist Certificate in Chamber Music at the San Francisco Conservatory of Music, as one of the three Osher Foundation Scholars. I play on a Frank Ravatin, generously lent by CANIMEX Inc.
Traditional Repertoire
My musical training has mostly been in classical music.
Though, I have a duo cello / guitar and we play a lot of different styles : modern music, spanish, italian, argentin etc.
