About

A SF Chronicle reviews stated: “A fine voice is a joy, but when coupled with intelligence such as Fey’s, the results are wondrous.” A graduate of the prestigious Merola Opera Program of SF Opera, Richard has performs in the Bay Area and made his start as a member of the 7th Army Soldiers' Chorus while stationed in Heidelberg, Germany. Richard performs regularly with my pianist Britt Day, a graduate of SF Conservatory of Music. His repertoire includes art songs, musical theater, opera and he often use some costumes (not required) to enhance the theatricality of his work. He has sung many operatic and musical theater roles and enjoys singing in more intimate venues. The Bay Area has heard and seen him on the operatic stage, in concert oratorio and various other venues. Richard has sung with New York City Opera Theater, Western Opera Theater & Marin Opera, among other locations.

Music

His first groupmuse including both serious and humorous repertoire: Francis Poulenc, British post-romantic composers, two Donizetti arias and two songs from "Les Miserables. Future gigs will include similar repertoire including arias from "Don Giovanni," "Le nozze di Figaro," etc. His first host, Nelda Gilkuss is especially interested in him singing opera arias in English.
