Alexandra and Christina are sisters who grew up in Sonoma County with 5 other string playing siblings, but went on to their respective studies and careers on opposite sides of the country. Reuniting two years ago in San Francisco, they began the Simpson Duo to explore and grow the repertoire of music for two violas. They have performed to acclaim at the International Women's Day Celebration for the San Francisco chapter of the United Nations Association of America, the San Francisco Symphony's Symphonix program, and
