About

Having performed in Egypt, Spain, Italy, Germany, Switzerland, USA, England and the Netherlands, pianist Seif El Din Sherif is leading a very active Soloist and Chamber Musician‘s life.
He was born in Cairo and started his piano lessons at age 12 with the Talent Development Center of the Library of Alexandria under Iman Nour-El-Din. Soon after, he became a student of the Berlin resident and Egyptian pianist, Yasser Mokhtar. He completed his bachelor studies in the Netherlands (Amsterdam) with Prof. Marcel Baudet and Germany (Leipzig) with Prof. Christian Pohl and Prof. Markus Tomas. In 2018 he was granted his Master of Music in solo performance degree with distinction from the Cologne Music Academy in the class of Prof. Sheila Arnold. Since 2019 he lives in Zurich and attends the Zurich University of the Arts and is a student of Prof. Karl Andreas Kolly.
He is an alumni and scholarship recipient of multiple Foundations such as the Konrad Adenauer Foundation, and Deutschlandstipendiu
