About

I am a jazz pianist and improvisor based in Santa Fe, New Mexico. I've performed as a solo artist and in groups across the United States and in Europe and Canada. I have a modern approach that's grounded in classical training and influenced by my time living in Portland, Denmark, New York City, and Santa Fe.

Music

My performances are usually jazz or jazz-related. I've done adventurous improvised solo concerts that were 100% made up on the spot, original compositions, jazz standards from the American Songbook, gospel, R&B, Latin music; it's always a little different, and it's always connected to a spirit of rhythm and improvisation and to what best serves the audience.

I love doing solo concerts. I also love to collaborate with other musicians - there's a special magic when the "sum is greater than the parts." I'll often collaborate with bassist and vocalist Rodney Bowe, or assemble a classic jazz trio or quartet for an occasion.

I am friends with top-level musicians and performers all over the region and would love to work with you to put together the perfect performance for your event.
