About

Dr. Rong Ma is a passionate performer, artist and educator. She is a top-prize winner of numerous competitions, a fellow of many top music festivals, and she has been heard in concert halls around the world. She is a fully trained Suzuki cello teacher and has her doctoral degree at University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music. She has been taught at Cleveland Institute of Music, University of Cincinnati, Queens College, and Elite Prep Academy. She is also a judge for the NYSSMA competition. Her students are competition winners and are currently members and principals of the top orchestras. 
Dr. Ma enjoys sharing her love of music in outreach performances in hospitals and special education schools both locally and over the internet. In addition to her performances on stage, Dr. Ma has appeared in movies with famous actors such as Jackie Chan, Jaden Smith, Justin Chatwin, Peter Stormare and Elizabeth Anweis.
