About

Alejo Cordero is a multi-instrumentalist, arranger, producer, and educator who specializes in folk Colombian Joropo llanero music. He graduated from EMMAT, a partner institution of Berklee College of Music in Colombia. Alejo has played the Bandola Llanera and cuatro venezolano for international music projects, including the renowned Cimarron band and the Latin Grammy-winning Palo Cruzao.

With over 18 years of performing experience, Alejo has made a significant musical impact both nationally and internationally. He has performed in countries such as the USA, India, France, Argentina, Uruguay, Nicaragua, El Salvador, Mexico, and Colombia.
