About

Our quartet came together during the pandemic lockdown, playing in garages, on sidewalks…anywhere we could provide music to the community! We come from SF Opera, SF Ballet, and Bay Area Rainbow Symphony.
We are community-builders who love to collaborate. Many of our concerts have included an “extra” player or more! We’ve played quintets including clarinet, piano, viola and cello… and even a singing dog! 🐶
We recently have partnered with Ensemble Humanité as well.

Music

We have played on chamber music series around the Bay Area, such as Piedmont Center for the Arts, Music on the Hill, Santa Cruz Chamber Players, Presidio Chapel Sunday Concerts, Throckmorton Theater, Mission Dolores Basilica, etc.
We also play benefit concerts for organizations like Alliance Francaise de Berkeley, Bird & Beckett Books, and East Bay Center for the Blind, and animal hospitals.
We’ve also played in some unique places, like atop a houseboat!

Our repertoire is broad and includes standard classical repertoire, lighthearted arrangements, and lesser-known 20th century works. Some of our favorite composers have included Bartok, Korngold, Britten, and Ravel.
