Host

Dear friends,

I invite you to a very special event, the world premiere of two of my short films & concerts that I made during the time of quarantine in my apartment, on the balcony and roof of my home in Rome.

The film & concert "7 Spanish popular songs", which I directed by myself, is an homage to the great theatrical director and theorist Anatoly Vasiliev.

The performance will feature guitarist from Santa Cecilia, maestro Antonio De Rose, who in collaboration will perform the 7 songs from the cycle of Spanish composer De Falla in transcription for guitar and voice.

The film & Concert "The infinity Daughter" by Iraida Yusupova is a Homage to my mother, the great contemporary poet Vera Pavlova. I will sing the songs after Vera's poems with an English translation by Steven Seymour, and will be accompanying myself on piano.

Accompanied by the performances will be reenactments of the Vera reading her poems, emphasizing the so-called intertwining between life and art, in virtual dialog with her daughter during the time of quarantine....

What's the music?
