After a successful (and absolutely lovely) launch of Groupmuse house concerts in Berlin, join us for another evening of music 🎶 Again, we shall convene in Malplaquetkiez, this time with a very rich and diverse music program by harpist Cara Dawson and acoustic guitarist Guy Woodcock. (More details will follow)

On the harp, Cara will play three pieces:
Eden Lonsdale - Immovable Tree
Kieran Timbrell - shadowed arch - obscure column
and number three is yet to be revealed (come around and be surprised)

To get a first listen of Cara's music, check out these links:

Born in Israel, Guy Woodcock is a guitarist and guitar teacher living and studying in Berlin.

Having finished his Bachelor’s degree in July 2018 at the “Hanns Eisler” HfM with professor Eugenia Kanthou, Guy is resuming his studies in a Master’s program at the UdK Berlin with professor Thomas Müller-Pering. Guy has also studied abroad at the ESMUC in Barcelona, with Prof. Laura Young as his teacher.
Guy has won second place in Israel’s national guitar competition at the academy of music and dance, Jerusalem, and received the America-Israel cultural fund’s scholarship for 4 years. In 2008 he was accepted to the IDF’s Outstanding Musician program and served in the army band for 3 years. Since Moving to berlin in 2013 Guy has been performing regularly in, among others, the LMN foundation, Musethica Berlin and the Berlin Guitar Festival.

As a classical guitarist, his favourite composer is Johann Sebastian Bach. He also enjoys playing Spanish and South American music for example Isaac Albèniz, Astor Piazzolla, Heitor Villa Lobos etc. Modern Composers that speak to him are Benjamin Britten and Toru Takemitzu.
