Welcome back to our beautiful home in the Presidio!

This will be a fun one, as we are hosting Latin Grammy-Nominee Sam Reider!

Sam will be playing on our Steinway piano, as well as on his accordion, also known as his "Stomach Steinway" or "Belly Bösendorfer" 😊

Our home is close to the Richmond district and the Golden Gate Bridge.

Public transport is tricky - plan ahead if you want to use the Presidio Shuttle service or plan to walk up the hill from the 1-California or 38-Geary bus lines.

This will be a small and intimate concert - with only 15 seats we are setting the "Suggested Contribution" at $25 to make sure that our musician does well. Of course its just a suggestion, so you can plan to give much more than that 😉

We live on a "slow street" with limited parking. I'll send out a message the day beforehand to let everyone know where you can park nearby in our part of the Presidio.

Note: We are a shoe-free house, so wear your coolest socks or BYOS (bring your own slippers). We also have a limited number of shoe covers.

What's the music?

American Panorama is a musical portrait of the connections between sounds, places, and traditions in the American landscape. Latin Grammy-nominated accordionist, pianist and composer Sam Reider presents an eclectic program of music that combines jazz, classical and American folk music. His original compositions range from a quiet meditation on a High Sierra "Mirror Lake," to the euphoric, Keith Jarrett-inspired etude "Petrichor," named for the fresh smell of the earth after a first rain. Alternatively pensive, bluesy, cinematic, and joyful, Reider's playing is "destined to spark your creativity, imagination and wanderlust for the natural world.” (Adrian Spinelli, San Francisco Chronicle)
