The Massivemuse is developing quite a long and storied tradition for itself here in NYC. Whether it’s freaking out to Stravinsky in a Masonic Temple, getting down with Medieval Peasants at a rock gym, or feeling Berlioz in our bones while acrobats bounce of the walls, it’s always been weird, pagan fun at the margins of this cultural Supernova of a city.
So it's with an enormous amount of pride that we’re about to take the Massivemuse to the white hot center of the Super Nova. The Orchestra of St. Luke’s, one of the leading orchestras in the whole world, is inviting us into their home to Massivemuse on their floor with a group of their star musicians.
It’s just utterly humbling that so venerable an organization is taking up our model of presenting this eternally great music and is a powerful testament to how ahead of the game these St. Luke's people are! And they even got us a beer sponsor. That’s right - The OSL is throwing down with free Lagunitas.
This is a very special moment in the life of Groupmuse.
There will be Bach. There will be beer. There will be you.
