Stacey Mastrian, a "sweet, shimmering soprano" (The Washington Post) who is "versatile and passionate" (Der Tagesspiegel), has performed at Teatro La Fenice (Venice), Konzerthaus (Berlin), Chapelle historique du Bon-Pasteur (Montréal) and St. Peter’s (Vatican City) and has made acclaimed appearances in the U.S. as soloist with CityMusic Cleveland Chamber Orchestra, as Gilda in Rigoletto with the Summer Opera Theatre Company, as Mabel in The Pirates of Penzance with the Washington Savoyards, and in countless recitals. As a Young Artist with Opera Lafayette, she has performed at the Kennedy Center and Jazz at Lincoln Center, and in December she made her debut with the Chamber Orchestra of New York at Carnegie Hall as winner of The Respighi Prize. She has performed numerous recitals for Vocal Arts DC as a Discovery Series Competition Winner and in an outreach capacity.

She has been a Fulbright Grantee and Beebe Fellow to Italy and has been awarded prizes from such organizations as The American Bach Society, National Italian American Foundation, Shoshana Foundation (Richard F. Gold Career Grant), and Vocal Arts DC.

Dr. Mastrian has taught at American University, the Sunderman Conservatory of Music at Gettysburg College, Peabody Conservatory of the Johns Hopkins University, University of Maryland Baltimore County and College Park, and privately.
