While I didn't graduate from Juilliard to perform home concerts, I can't imagine performing for a more appreciative audience than groupmuse. I've absolutely loved the intimacy of playing for audiences in home recitals for over 20 years. It allows me to combine my skills as a concert pianist with my love of educating, as I invite the audience to learn a little about the music they are hearing and enjoy it more thoroughly. I also tie in my own personal experience with that composer, i.e. visiting Chopin's birth home in Żelazowa Wola.

I'm currently recovering from four hand surgeries after a fall left me with seven fractures in my right hand. (Read full story here... http://bit.ly/2oIUjZL) While healing, I'm loving performing left hand repertoire, especially opening my programs with the Brahms left hand arrangement of the Bach Chaconne, originally written for violin. I play music with my heart, no matter how many hands are on the keys.
