About

I'm a Bay Area native who went off to New York for school (at Bard Conservatory and Juilliard) and then missed California so much that I came home! I'm primarily a classical pianist and regularly perform solo and chamber music around the world. I'm currently a member of Left Coast Chamber Ensemble here in the Bay Area, Chordless duo with soprano Sara LeMesh, and a frequent guest with the San Francisco Contemporary Music Players. I was recently the pianist for the Delphi Trio, a piano trio with violinist Liana Bérubé and cellist Tanya Tomkins. I also founded and co-directed the San Francisco music festival, Bard Music West for many years. I currently teach privately and at the San Francisco Conservatory of Music's Pre-College.

Music

I play a wide range of music from the Baroque period to the present day. I love playing the music of living composers, but I also love Beethoven and Brahms. I take a particular interest in discovering pieces by overlooked composers from the past, like Fanny Mendelssohn, Clara Schumann, and William Grant Still.
