I'm a classical pianist living in Washington DC. Dramatic solo concerts are great, but I prefer the intimate chamber music repertoire even more, and dabble quite a bit in jazz. Last year I finished a doctorate at Juilliard in NYC (where I went for masters and most of my undergraduate), and I currently play piano in the "Presidents Own" US Marine Chamber Orchestra, as well as in my own concerts around the city. Speaking with audiences is essential for me; it helps create a more intimate setting, and makes it even easier to explore the music together.
Traditional Repertoire
For piano solo, I'm happy to play much of the standard repertoire of Bach, Beethoven Brahms, Chopin, Ravel, Debussy, Prokofiev, Rachmaninoff, Schumann, Mozart, etc.
I love chamber music - I have played most of the standard repertoire for piano trio, quartet and quintet by Beethoven, Brahms, Dvorak, Faure, Schumann, etc
