About

As the first reed quintet in New England, the Kalliope Reed Quintet is active in and around the Boston area bringing new works to new audiences. In just the past year they have commissioned over ten new works, live-streamed their summer concert series to audiences locally and across the Americas, and are preparing to record their first album. Members of this ensemble include Anna Bradford (oboe), Celine Ferro and Wolcott Humphrey (clarinet and bass clarinet), Bennett Parsons (Saxophone), and Natalie Zemba (bassoon), all professional freelance musicians in the Boston area and recent graduates of New England Conservatory and Boston University.
