I grew up in Chicago, taking piano lessons since I was 5. I studied at the Music Institute of Chicago with Emilio del Rosario and Ralph Neiweem. In 2010, I moved to Baltimore to study with Marian Hahn at the Peabody Conservatory where I completed my Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Piano Performance. I have enjoyed performing all over North America, Europe, and Asia from notable concert halls and radio stations to hospitals and nursing homes. My many festival appearances include the Cortona Sessions, Atlantic Music Festival, Orford Music Festival, Art of the Piano, Gijón International Piano Festival in Spain, Pitten International Festival in Austria, and Festival Pablo Casals de Prades in France.

My solo repertoire comprises of many diverse works and styles. I have been playing works by Bach, Beethoven, Chopin, and Debussy for over 20 years. In more recent years, my focuses have shifted to pieces composed after 1900 with an emphasis on works by Stravinsky, Ligeti, Messiaen, Unsuk Chin, and Ginastera. Also, I am a regular ballet accompanist working with Ballet Arts in New York City and previously held the position of company accompanist at the Hyde Park School of Dance in Chicago.

I am passionate about chamber music and collaboration and feel lucky to have worked with some amazing artists including Peter Frankl, Robert McDonald, Michael Kannen, Seth Knopp and members of the Guarneri, Spektral, JACK, and Brentano quartets, International Contemporary Ensemble, and Alarm Will Sound. My favorite pieces to play include piano trios and sonatas by Beethoven, Schubert, Debussy, Piazzolla, Ravel, Joan Tower, Prokofiev, Feldman, Bartok, Shostakovich and the list goes on!
