About

Hailing from Denver, Colorado, violinist Leah Froyd is a highly active soloist and chamber musician. She is currently attending the San Francisco Conservatory of Music under the direction of Ian Swensen pursuing her bachelor’s degree. In the past few years, she has thoroughly enjoyed collaboration with artists such as Basil Vendryes, Charles Castleman, Terry King, the Telegraph Quartet, and Csaba Erdéli. She has also received masterclasses given by Olivier Charlier, Alvaro Parra, Bill VanDerSloot, Vivian Weilerstein, and Linda Wang. In her free time, Leah enjoys volunteering with El Sistema Colorado, reading, and going on hikes with her dogs.
