About

Cellist Carolyn Rosinsky is a frequent performer in the Baltimore-Washington area, often playing solo or in duos with piano or viola. She has played in diverse venues, from traditional concert halls such as the Warner Theatre in Washington, DC and the Royal Festival Hall in London, to pop-up performances in hospital lobbies and shopping malls. A versatile musician, Carolyn has also directed orchestras, coached chamber music, and served as musical director of student a-capella singing groups. Carolyn places great importance on education through music, working with the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra's OrchKids program and youth in Peru and Brazil through AmaZon Art.

Classical cello solo music, or classical chamber music duos with piano and viola (composers such as Beethoven, Schubert, Brahms, Bach, Franck, Grieg, etc.). Carolyn usually talks about the pieces before playing to introduce the audience to the composer and the piece they are about to hear.
