A live concert in a living room, backyard, or another intimate space. They're casual and friendly, hosted by community members.

Host

After attending 36 Groupmuses I'm finally starting to host my own! Please join me for my first event--we have a lovely cello quartet performing Bach, Haydn, Brahms, and the lovely ‘oblivion’ by the Argentine tango composer Astor Piazzolla. If you heard (and like me, couldn’t get enough of) the first movement of the Haydn concerto in C major on the lower east side last month, come this time for the entire piece!!

Program:
J.S. Bach - Cello Suite No.5 in C minor, BWV 1011, Sarabande
Joseph Haydn - Cello Concerto in C Major
Bach - Air from Orchestral Suite No. 3
Brahms - Im Herbst
Piazzolla - Oblivion

Doors open at 3:30 pm. Music begins at 4:00 pm.

note: we won't be wearing shoes so please come with fun socks :) masks are not mandatory but if you have immunosuppressed friends/family or would like to wear one for extra safety masks are completely cool!

What's the music?

Tomsen Su Cello
Ian Lum Cello

Bach Suite 5, Sarabande
Haydn Cello Concerto No. 1 in C major
