About

Violist Michael Davis premiered as a soloist at age 15 at the St. Martin-in-the-Fields Cathedral, London, England, playing Teleman's G major Viola Concerto with the Walnut Hills Orchestra. He has since appeared in concerts throughout the United States, the Carribean, and Asia. Recent performances include a nationwide tour with Branford Marsalis and the Chamber Orchestra of Philadelphia, and guest violist with the Sinfonia Nacional de Santo Domingo. Michael is active as a player and board member with Shattered Glass Ensemble, as a member of the Red Oak Contemporary Ensemble, and as an Artist Instructor in the Musica de Camara Foundation.
