As soon as I turned eight, the cello became my brutal, but beloved companion in the endless voyage we call "life". My seldom linear trajectory has left me performing and collaborating in a potpourri of venues encompassing San Francisco's Davies Symphony Hall to Berlin's Philharmonie to even Hollywood's legendary Troubadour. Furthermore, the demographic profile of the audience covers rowdy bar-types, avid book-intellectuals, food-insecure in shelters, and classy aristocrats with volumes ranging from a family and their dog to sold-out concert halls. For the time being, I have committed myself to realizing the notion that high-quality classical music is not reserved only for grandiose halls and tuxedo-filled seats; rather, a holistically sensual exposure to this genre of classical music is a natural right of the entire spectrum of the human species.
